The staff provide excellent service and the rooms have comfy firm beds, with great facilities and a lovely view from the outside sitting area. The hotel also offers essential appliances and a breakfast with sufficient options to cook occasional meals.

Great little motel in a rural setting but only 5 minutes drive from town. Clean and comfortable and terrific value compared to other motels we stayed at.

The check in phone system was unusual but efficient. If it helps to keep costs down it's worth being a bit outside the square.

very well run, clean, quiet location unusual though that we didnt get to meet the owners. no big deal, but no contact apart from onsite phone, not even a reciept for our stay as stated. however would stay here again if in albany again

The units were very comfortable and well equipped. Nice and clean. Even had Foxtel. Was quiet and peaceful,with the 'Biblumin Track' right behind the property. We totally enjoyed ourselves.We will be back

This hotel is situated in the perfect location, being not far from all the attractions we wanted to visit. It's on the outskirts of town, making it easy to access the centre or other attractions. The staff were extremely friendly and provided great service throughout our stay. The rooms were well-equipped with essential appliances, including comfortable beds and chairs. We loved the green space outside, which added a nice touch to the overall ambiance. Additionally, the breakfast provided was sufficient to cook occasional meals, which was a great convenience.

The towels could be improved, perhaps by using white ones.

Very spacious room, very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen. The location is good compared to many hotels we checked, just a short drive (less than 5min) to the town centre. Even though it's by Frenchman Bay Rd (a very busy road during the day), it gets really quiet during the night, so we were able to have some good nights' sleep after spending the days enjoying Albany and its surroundings. Harbourside Motel is very good value for money!

Some other reviews have mentioned the fact that the check in is done through the phone when you get to the motel. It is actually a bit unusual, but it worked just fine, not an issue. You just miss having someone to talk to at the reception in case you need tourist information. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that my room had one of those connecting doors to the next room. Thank God we had quiet neighbours, otherwise our overall experience definitely wouldn't be so positive. I think this should be mentioned when you book the room. I've had some bad experiences with people with babies crying the whole night next door, and the conneting door doesn't help at all in this matter.
